Using state-of-the-art OLED technology with a diameter of 240 mm and its high-quality glass lending it a distinctive, minimalist appearance. It serves as an instrument cluster as well as your onboard infotainment and assistance hub. And the circular OLED display is a world first.

At MINI, we are committed to pioneering a balance that embraces MINI performance and iconic design with sound environmental credentials. This commitment is born out of our actions. We now offer a completely animal-friendly, leather-free interior using sustainable, partly recycled materials. Our 2D flat knit for dashboards, door panels and lids is made from over 90% recycled polyester fibers. And our new generation wheels are now made from up to 70% secondary aluminum.

Our designers have come up with a smart Travel & Comfort System that allows various attachments to be quickly and easily put into place. Holders for your tablets, clothes hangers and universal hooks for bags can be securely attached to the backrests of the front seats. There are clever foldable cup holders – and now folding tables can also be attached as work or storage surfaces.

The fun starts the second you grip the steering wheel. Inspired by the timeless classic Mini we have given it a redesign, slightly reducing the size to give you an even more intense, classic contemporary MINI go-kart feeling. And instead of a third spoke it now features a stylish, decorative fabric strap. The left control panel lets you activate the driver assistance systems, and you can operate your entertainment and communication functions with the right panel.

MINI is establishing a whole new aesthetic through our use of textiles. The new material we use on the dash and door panels creates an especially comfortable ambience. The fabric is high-quality and easy to clean. It offers a luxurious tactile experience, more design options, and serves as the perfect canvas for showing your exciting projections in the different MINI Experience Modes. And we’ll continue to explore further ways to develop materials that fulfil the demanding criteria when it comes to feel, appearance and wear resistance.

To achieve maximum go-kart feeling, we applied key design criteria when developing the all-electric MINI Countryman. We enhanced driving dynamics for instance thanks to the low centre-of-gravity due to the battery placement. We achieve thrilling MINI handling by optimising weight distribution and using a direct steering ratio coupled with a small steering wheel. We boost lateral dynamics and grip by optimising tyre width. And latest hardware and software enabled us to make handling even more playful and thrilling especially in the Go-Kart Mode.

Animal-friendly interiors are now available for MINI vehicles as we can now offer exciting substitutes for leather. Innovative seat surfaces constructed from knitted 100% recycled textiles, which provide the same premium quality and seating comfort as leather, ensure there are no compromises in terms of look, feel and functionality. And our new steering wheels fulfil all the demanding criteria when it comes to appearance, wear and durability.
